Climate change and how learning professionals can respond

Will Day is running the session and is a fellow of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. His work enables him to work with senior staff, exec teams and boards of global and national organisations, and governments. His focus is on helping leaders better understand and identify the risks and opportunities that accompany the rapidly evolving global context.

This feels like a really important session. Will is part of the faculty delivering on the Learning Leader Programme and I found the content so impactful that I asked Will to come along and share with the wider group. He will provide the latest data on the way the climate is being disrupted, highlight that this is not simply a case of the world getting hotter as there will be changes way beyond environmental. These changes will impact our organisations and the learning function will play a key role in addressing them.
