About the event
The session
Organizations tend to approach change as a manageable transition between stable states. But today, change initiatives unfold amid continuous disruption, complexity, and ambiguity. Stable states are largely a thing of the past.
Without a shift in expectations and approach, even well-supported efforts stall: new behaviors revert to old habits, tools and processes go unused, fragmentation increases, and paradoxically, “the way it’s always been” becomes more entrenched.
In this session, Michael Hudson will explore how leaders and organizations can develop change fitness: the ability to receive, interpret, and navigate reality as it emerges.
He will explore three core leadership practices:
grounding the system so it can fully take in what is happening
