About the event
Cath Bishop is a three-time Olympian, World Champion and Olympic silver medallist in rowing. In her career as a British diplomat, Cath specialized in stabilization policy for conflict-affected parts of the world. She is the author of ‘The Long Win’ that explores our widespread obsession with winning. It examines what winning has come to mean to society and to us as individuals and offers a fresh perspective on how we might redefine success – personal and professional - for the longer-term.
In this session, following the publication of a 2nd edition of 'The Long Win' in May which contains more stories of leaders putting Long Win Thinking into practice, she will be sharing her experiences of how redefining success is a crucial step in creating environments where people can make the best decisions, explore their potential and invest their time in what matters most.
